Make sure you understand all directions given to you by the doctor.
If you have any questions or concerns, make sure you ask them before you leave the office. Dr. Kim and her staff are committed to making sure you receive the best possible care, and they are happy to help in any way they can.
Schedule any follow up or future appointments as soon as possible (you can even do this before leaving the office).
Mark them on your calendar and make sure to put your reminder card (if you have one) in a safe place.
Make sure you have all of your medications and new prescriptions or samples before leaving the office. Verify the pharmacy you’ll be using and ask any questions you have about any medications you receive during your visit.
Make sure you have all paperwork and referrals if necessary.
After your visit, you may have to see another physician or get further testing or imaging done. Make sure that you have any orders, referrals, or any other paperwork you may need before you leave. If you ever find yourself missing something, please call our office at (847) 296-1200 for further assistance.
A few days after your appointment, any testing done during your visit will be available for you to review online through your account. Don’t worry if you’re confused--someone from our office will always call you to review your results with you. You can also view your medication list and vaccine history as welll as send messages to the office staff (please note: this messaging feature is for non-emergent issues only).
