Physical Examination by a doctor – Includes examination of blood pressure (systolic & diastolic), pulse, body temperature, height, weight, BMI, head (ear, eye, throat), neck, heart, lungs, abdomen, genitourinary tract exam (gyne exam for females, testicular exam, hernia exam for males and prostate exams for age 40+ males), and musculoskeletal exams.
Cardiac Risk Profile (Lipid Profile) – Checks levels of total cholesterol, HDL (good cholesterol), LDL (bad cholesterol), and triglycerides. Test to assess for risk for heart attack and stroke.
Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential – Checks white blood cell and platelet count. Test for anemia.
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (Chem-24) – Assesses internal organ functions, including kidneys and liver. Checks body's chemical balance of sodium, potassium, calcium, albumin, protein, and glucose.
Free T4 –Checks thyroid hormone.
Glycohemoglobin –Checks average level of your blood sugar for the past three months -- this is more accurate than a one-time instant blood glucose test. Tests for diabetes.
TSH – High sensitivity thyroid stimulating hormone.
Uric Acid – Tests for gout; many people have abnormal levels of uric acid and do not know
Urinalysis – Tests to screen for presence of blood and protein in urine, which may indicate more serious conditions.
